Neuropharmacology

As a team of 3, we were tasked with conceptually designing a drug for neuropharmacology course B BIO 394. We stepped through the design process beginning with identifying a disease, researching its physiological actions through peer reviewed research, preexisting treatments and their mechanisms of action, and areas of improvement. The exercise was a practice in creative problem solving within the scope of ischemic stroke, minimizing neurological damage of the ischemic core and penumbra.
